Transforming Ireland
Ireland stands at a moment of unusual opportunity. A growing population, technological innovation, strong international connections and an established position within the European Union provide a foundation for continued development. Transforming Ireland is an optimistic examination of how the country can build on its achievements, addressing housing, infrastructure, education, enterprise and regional development while creating a more prosperous and confident future.
On Essaying
On Essaying is an exploration of the practice of attention and discovery. It is not a book about essays. It is an invitation to walk through the landscape from which essays emerge. The ground may be unfamiliar, the weather unsettled, and the path uncertain. But others have travelled here before. You need not understand everything at once. Walk a little further. See what you discover.
About Brief Me
Brief Me is Maythorn’s series of citizen guides to the issues shaping Ireland’s future.
Each volume helps readers understand a complex public issue, explore the debates surrounding it, and participate more confidently in public discussion. Written in clear language and grounded in evidence, Brief Me does not tell readers what to think. Its purpose is to help them think more clearly, weigh competing arguments, and express their views more effectively.
